Happiness is...Happiness is waking up with a purring cat on your head. Through half-closed, dark green eyes, she looks at you. Lazy cat and contagious. Happiness is a warm bun filled with almond cream, soaking in a bowl of hot milk. Happiness is a gentle, long hug complete with little kisses. I almost feel happy. I've received one of these three recipes today. I feel a little angsty though, because I'm going to go off to the employment office to sign up for a 2-month course. It should give me something to do, a goal, and hopefully something useful to come out with at the end. I'm just waiting for my father to phone me so I can find out where he's moved my bank account information. There is something creepy about kids' songs. They are so disgustingly happy and simple that it makes me shiver. Not all of them though, just the likes of Teletubbies and so on. You know.. the truly "educational" ones. They have such an atmosphere of fakeness that I worry what it's doing to the children. Now don't get me wrong - I dislike kids in general, but someday they'll grow up to rule the world... and a generation of Teletubby-ites in control just makes me shiver. I've got my Oh.
